In 2020, to prevent the spread of the Corona virus in India, vaccinations were carried out intensively throughout the country. Then the Union Ministry of Health launched a website called Govin. Also Govin’s app was launched on behalf of the central government.
In order to get corona vaccine, they have to register their details such as date of birth, Aadhaar number, passport number and address on the Gov’s app. The details of those who got corona vaccine have been leaked through Telegram.
In other words, it is said that data such as telephone Aadhaar number, photo voter ID card number of individuals has been released in Telegram.
In this case, the app of the Union Ministry of Health is very safe. All personal data in this process is safe. It has clarified that the reports that the information is leaking are baseless. The central government has also clarified that complaints will be investigated. The Union Health Ministry has also asked CERT-In to consider the matter and submit a report.
