It was announced that out of 5329 liquor retail shops operating in the Tamil Nadu State Chamber of Commerce as on 31.03.2023, 500 liquor retail shops will be found and closed during the request of the Hon’ble Minister for Electricity, Prohibition and Prohibition in the Legislative Assembly.
Chief Minister M. K. Stalin had announced in the Legislative Assembly that 500 liquor retail shops would be closed in Tamil Nadu. Last April 20, a government order was issued to close 500 liquor shops.
Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu government announced today that 500 liquor retail shops in Tamil Nadu will be closed from tomorrow. In this situation, the details of 500 Tasmac shops which will be closed zone wise in Tamil Nadu have been released now.

2. Shop No:11041-No:168, Melpatti Road, Chandappettai, Gudiatham Circle,
3. Shop No: 11046-Paper Road, Near MRF Company, Chudukatu Road, Vellore.
4. Shop No: 11117-Opposite Forest Office, Bus Stand, Odugathur, Aaykatu Circle
5.Shop No:11245-Chennai-Chittoor Road, Tiruvalam, Katpadi Circle.
6.Shop No:11340-No:5/1, Amriti Main Road, Bennathur, Vellore Circle.
The District Collector, E.A.P. Pandian has said that the above 6 liquor retail shops have been selected and decided to close them from 22.06.2023 and the above 6 liquor retail shops will not function permanently from 22.06.2023.
