The parents of the one-and-a-half-year-old child, who was being treated at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai, have lodged a complaint with the hospital police station regarding the removal of one of their hands.
Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Ramanathapuram District Mr. Dastagir-Mrs Aziza’s one-and-a-half-year-old child Mohammad Maheer was admitted on June 25.
While being treated for hydrocephalus at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, it is said that thrips were applied to his right arm to administer medicine.
On 29.6.2023, medicine was injected into the child’s right hand through ‘trips’, after which her child’s hand was affected and she complained several times to the nurses but they ignored her.
A nurse at the hospital was the main cause of my child’s condition. Also, a doctor who was on duty that day was also responsible for this. So we should investigate both of them and take appropriate action. We have no one in the background. He said that I am fighting so much so that what happened to my child should not happen to anyone else
In this case, the parents have been called to attend the hearing today 04.07.2023 at 10 am in the matter of the removal of the child’s hand.
